About
I have always loved music. As early as I can remember I was constantly trying to play different instruments. When I was 10 years old I picked up a beat up old acoustic guitar that my parents had bought for my older brother years prior. I started messing around with it and began begging my parents for a new guitar for Christmas. My parents are amazing people, they not only bought me my first guitar that Christmas but they continued to support me in everything I did with my music. Most of my teenage years were spent playing what typical teenagers play on guitar. After serving a mission for my church in Louisiana I came home really wanting to create my own arrangements of hymns on acoustic guitar. I didn’t actually begin this project however until shortly after I was married. My wife Amber who has supported me with my music as well allowed me to buy a bunch of recording gear (which became an endless black hole of upgrades, those who have ever gotten into recording know what I am talking about) and so it began.
I first began my arrangements of hymns on guitar as a Christmas gift for my family. I sent out a demo of my project to several distributors. I received an overwhelmingly positive response from Granite Distribution based out of Orem, Utah. I created 3 volumes in the Hymns Made of String series. I have been working on some other projects as well but as life goes sometimes my music has been put on hold as of late and I am looking to release some new projects here very soon.
